Dear Followers:

My Twitter account needs oil . . .

It's getting a little rusty. Just like the Tin Man, I've been busy heading to Emerald City.  I know the wizard is a fake, just like all the Liberals who are marching against Trump.  I don't know why they just don't take their ball and go home. After all this is what the drove of Hollywood stars promised to do. I can't believe they haven't started their mass exodus. Just give them time, they're still trying to find a country that will allow them the freedom to become a politician without running for any office.

This entire election cycle has me boiling. This is why: How about George Lopez. "If Trump is elected you won't have to worry, because we'll all go back"  I wonder how long George would last, without an invitation to a celebrity golf outing?

Whoopi Goldberg."Maybe it's time for me to move, you know. I can afford to go."  Don't let the door hit you in the Whoopi. Whoopi. What would the View do?

Miley Cyrus. "I don't say things I don't mean."  Now that is Voicing your Voice.  See ya.

I could go on and on, but I think you get the drift. If this country is so bad,why did this election make everyone so angry?  Every one of Hollywood's (so called elites) have my permission to exit NOW!

Everyone knows that one of the first words a baby says is "No."   I'm using one of my freedoms, to say "Yes."  They can all go as far as I'm concerned.

This column's bottom line: They say it's nice this time of year in Syria.

Echoes: Forgive Them Lord, For They Know What They Do . . .

Forgive Them Lord, For They Know What They Do . . .

God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything. John 3:20

From a Christian view point, the Alito hearings have begun just the way all other Judiciary Committe hearings have -- complete Liberal rhetoric!

Thank goodness for XM radio. I happened to hear the opening remarks of our beloved Senator Edward Kennedy (D-Mass). I couldn't believe my ears. Has Eddie forgotten the 1969 Chappaquiddick episode? How this man can point any kind of finger at someone else is beyond understanding. 36 years doesn't make your past go away. Someday Edward will have to answer to his past.

If you've forgotten the Chappaquiddick incidnet, there's an interesting website (http://www.ytedk.com/) that will probably spur your interest.

There is just one thing that most Conservatives want -- and that is a fair, up-or-down vote by the full Senate on Judge Samuel Alito. For once in the history of the Senate, the conservative have the votes. Why don't they simply listen to the American people -- and vote! Forget all of the television opportunities -- and get on with it!

Remember, when the Country is down to nothing . . . God is up to something!

Faith sees the invisible, believes the incredible and receives the impossible!

It's more than time -- for someone to stand-up for the unborn

Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, a former Texas Supreme Court Justice said like this: "They want judges who will find traditional marriage limited to one man and one woman unconstitutional. They want judges who will ban any religious expression from the public square. They even want judges who will proibit school children from reciting the Pledge of Allegiance."

I think it's time for the people to stand up and fight!

Let your Senators know how you feel. And if they don't listen. Vote them out!

The Bottom line:
It's the start that stops most people.

Just Wondering

My eyes have been glued to CNN, ever since Katrina hit the Southern coast. I listen to my XM radio when I’m in my car, I search for photos on my computer. When they tell us this is the largest natural disaster to hit the United States in it’s history -- your heart goes out for all the victims. You ask yourself: What can I do to help?

Instant video pictures and live telecast is in itself a marvel, but it can also make your blood start to boil!

Why on earth would teenagers and grown men be carrying guns and firing on medical helicopters when devastation surrounds them? It can only make you think of the worse in man kind. Has our morals decayed to this? Looting for food and water is one thing -- but to hijack peoples cars, and loot tennis shoes and other retail items is uncalled for.

My immediate thought was is God trying to tell New Orleans something? Should a catastrophe be read as a punishment from God? Do floods, famine, earthquakes come because God is angry? The Bible’s answer is, “Sometimes, and sometimes not.”

In Genesis, several catastrophes seemed to “just happen”. They were not punishment or a warning, though God used them to advance his plans. These included several famine such as the one that put Joseph to power (chapter 41), a war (chapter 14), a rape (chapter 34).

But a few catastrophes God took full credit for -- like the one a Sodom and Gomorrah.

Have you ever been to New Orleans?

I tell people it’s one of those places you need to visit one time! Ginger and I were there two times. Both times in a convention setting.

In my twenties, I would have called this city “Party Town”. Today, I would call it what it is “Sin City”. You name it, it happens in New Orleans.

God’s patience ran out on Sodom. Could the same b e true for New Orleans? I guess that’s one of the questions we can ask Jesus when He returns.

This week’s bottom line: Jesus did not let his followers think of Sodom simply as “those terrible people.” He warned them that God would be even harder on those who saw Jesus’ miracles, but ignored them (Matthew 11:24) Remember, God’s patience has a limit.

What can you do? How about donating blood, sending cash to the Red Cross or Salvation Army, or inviting a homeless family a place to live until they get back on their feet.
